GOAT fee calculator

Three separate charges stack on a GOAT sale: commission set by your seller rating, a shipping fee, and a cash-out fee when you withdraw. This shows all three.

Fees verified 03 August 2026 against GOAT’s official fee page.

Your rating is your fee

GOAT prices commission by seller rating, and every account starts at 90 — the top tier, 9.5% for US sellers. That's the rate used above. Drop below and it gets expensive fast: 15% at rating 70–89, 20% at 50–69, and 25% below 50.

The rating moves asymmetrically, which is the part worth internalising. A cancellation costs you 10 points; a successful sale earns back 2. One cancelled order takes five clean sales to undo, and cancelling twice can drop you a full tier — turning a 9.5% business into a 15% one for months. On sneakers, that difference is usually larger than your margin.

Two smaller line items: US sellers pay $5 for a prepaid shipping label or $0 by dropping off, and withdrawals cost 2.9% with a $25 minimum balance. The drop-off option is free money if there's a location near you.

Questions

What rating do I start at?

90, which is the best US tier at 9.5%. You keep it by shipping authentic items on time; cancellations are what cost you, at 10 points each against 2 points earned per successful sale.

Can I avoid the shipping fee?

Yes — US sellers pay $0 when dropping off rather than $5 for a prepaid label. If a drop-off point is convenient, it's the easiest fee on this page to eliminate.

Why is the cash-out fee separate?

It's charged when you withdraw earnings rather than per sale, at 2.9% via ACH or PayPal with a $25 minimum. It's included above so the number reflects money actually in your bank, not GOAT credit.
