Grailed fee calculator

Grailed's commission has two tiers with a hard line at $120, and payment processing stacks on top of both. Try prices either side of the line.

The $120 line and the shipping trap

Sales of $120 and up pay 9% commission. Below $120 the rate drops to 6% with a $1.99 minimum, which makes cheap items proportionally cheaper to sell here than on most competitors. Payment processing then adds 3.49% plus 49 cents for US sellers onboarded with Stripe — international sales run higher.

The detail that costs people money is the fee base. Grailed calculates commission on the sale price plus buyer-paid shipping — unless you use a Grailed Label, in which case it's the listing price alone. Charging $15 shipping without a Grailed Label hands Grailed commission on that $15 too. Using their label is usually the cheaper path even when the postage itself costs slightly more.

Buyers pay no fee on Grailed, so your listing price is what they compare against other platforms directly — unlike marketplaces that add a buyer protection charge at checkout.

Questions

Is commission charged on shipping?

Only if you don't use a Grailed Label. With a Grailed Label the commission base is your listing price alone; without one it includes whatever shipping the buyer paid, which quietly raises your effective rate.

What's the fee under $120?

6% with a $1.99 minimum, for sales on or after 20 May 2026. That's noticeably friendlier to cheap items than most competing platforms, though the $1.99 floor dominates on very low prices.

Do international sales cost more?

Yes — processing rises to 4.99% + $0.49 internationally, and sellers not onboarded with Stripe pay a higher fixed component. The figures above are US domestic with Stripe onboarding.
